Not to sound totally cliché, but it’s wedding season y’all! I’m going to my first of the summer in just over a week, and the usual pre-wedding panic is starting to creep in. I don’t know why, but I take my wedding looks very seriously and (embarrassingly) plan them somewhat in advance. And even though it’s totally irresponsible to buy a new frock every time, I rarely wear the same dress to a wedding more than once (I mean, photos, am I right?). Come on, I know I’m not alone here.
But thankfully, it’s not necessary to go broke buying a dress for each of your summer weddings. I’m super excited to be working with PrettyLittleThing, showing you guys two looks I styled from their Wedding Guest Dresses collection, for two different styles of weddings. The first being a more formal ceremony, and the second being a more casual beachy (perhaps even destination) wedding.
When it comes to weddings you can honestly never go wrong with a little black dress, even in the height of summer. While it used to be a faux-pas back in the day, it’s now actually quite appropriate especially for weddings where you’re not exactly sure how formal it’s going to be. Always better to be slightly overdressed than under, in my book. On the other hand, for more casual settings I’m loving the fruity neon color trend happening this season, and would love to wear this sorbet tangerine mini dress with lace-up espadrilles and a raffia hat for a more laidback ceremony. Which look do you like best? Tell me below, and make sure to check out more options for all your upcoming summer nuptials at PrettyLittleThing.
