Summer’s almost drawing to an end, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way when you waltz around DTLA (stupidly attempting to look cute by wearing heels – just, why?). This type of cotton peasant top paired with jeans and gingham gives the sense of being on a vacation in the French Riviera, which I’m craving extra hard now that that end-of-summer haze is settling over the city and the days are getting shorter. The transitional months are upon us, when it’s too hot to feel like fall but the carefree vibe of summer seems to have gone away. Work projects are full force again, and the holidays are due to sneak up on us in no time at all. Personally, I’m getting super excited to rock fall fashion (Zara is killing it super hard this season already), but for now, I’m pretending to frolick on a European summer vacay instead.
