Not to be totally cliché and talk about the weather, but it’s been a central issue for me in getting dressed over the last few weeks. The climate in LA is, obviously, mostly sunny and gorgeous – save for the few funky months when the seasons change and all weather conditions seem to be packed into a single day. It makes figuring out what to wear pretty challenging, and if you’re someone like me who already suffers indecisiveness in this area, you’re doubly lost.
While we continue to transition into warmer weather, I’m making it easy on myself and living in lightweight layers that are perfect for that ‘in-between’ time… Cozy enough to keep you warm in the shade or in the early evening, while being thin enough not to cause a full on sweatfest when it’s bound to be 80 degrees and sunny at some point throughout the day, however brief that moment is. I’ve fallen in love with this cotton kimono wrap jacket, which can serve as both a top or outer layer, depending on how you style it. It would go equally as perfectly with cut off shorts, on a warmer day. I’m running out of reasons not to buy this denim version…
