It’s no lie that I’m obsessed with an easy jeans and top look. Give me an uneven hem with a Vetements vibe, add on a high waist, and I’m doubly sold. I had been eyeing these bad boys a few months back in a light blue wash but like an idiot I slept on them, and they sold out in about 2 seconds flat. Luckily the jeans gods blessed me with an even more appropriate washed grey-on-black pair, perfect for my style.
This fall I’m going for simplicity with cool touches – a chunky knit sweater with a cutout or lace up detail, an oxblood silk slip dress with a plunging back, and over-the-knee boots in a cool color like deep green… All simple pieces with a little twist. That’s why I’m obsessed with these jeans – they’re not just your average black high waisted skinnies, but you can wear them like they are. I’m so ready for the day that it actually drops below 70 here in LA. 90+ degree weather in October? Absolute BS. The fact that I’m a fall-fashion person living in So-Cal is a bit ironic, isn’t it? But alas, life could be worse. Counting down until the moment I can style these jeans with an oversized sweater and ankle sock boots. In the meantime, I’m loving the look of this camo top (first camo piece I’ve ever owned, shockingly enough). A printed, high neck is always super flattering for us small-breasted ladies (no bra recommended). Shop my look below!
